What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle
Mentor fellow engineers and share best practices
Utilize various programming languages and tools to develop and maintain applications
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Fluency in at least two modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang
Proven understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
4+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of experience with architecture and design
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
Knowledge of security protocols including Active Directory and OAuth
Experience in securing web applications
Understanding of continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
