What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide leadership to engineering teams across multiple areas and own complete solutions throughout their life cycle
Collaborate with product managers and team members to influence and build vision for complex enterprise-class business applications
Ensure quality, usability, and performance of technology solutions
Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering standards
Mentor junior team members and share best practices to improve processes within and across teams
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience within a Java framework (J2EE, web containers, and Java)
At least 4 years of experience in open-source frameworks
Minimum of 3 years of experience with architecture and design of systems
Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service for at least 3 years
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Fluency and specialization in at least two modern programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#
Experience in building products using microservices-oriented architecture and REST APIs
Knowledge of DevOps concepts and Azure DevOps Operational Framework
Familiarity with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
Strong problem-solving ability and capability to excel in a startup-like environment
