100% Remote Senior Data Engineer with AWS and Oracle

Razor is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer with deep experience in AWS and Oracle environments, specializing in Datalake architecture, data warehousing design and development. Experience with ETL design and development using ETL tools and Data Analytics tools.

This role supports our long term, 100% remote federal government contract supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

36-40 hours per week based on federal government budgeted period of performance hours.

Work Authorizations required: GC, US C

Will be required to go through Public Trust Security Clearance and multiple background checks.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with Data Warehouse / Data Lake architecture, design, and development
  • Structured, semi-structured and un-structured data design
  • Dimensional modeling
  • Aggregation of facts for reporting
  • Slowly changing dimensions
  • 3+ years of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) design/development
  • Designing ETL architecture
  • Master data management
  • Data cleansing
  • 3+ years of experience with report architecture development
  • Reporting metadata models
  • Report development
  • 3+ years of experience with ETL and Data Analytics tool(s)
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, Oracle, and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
  • Amazon Redshift
  • Tableau
