Role Responsibilities:

You will determine and implement solutions for new features, capabilities, and tool integrations with ServiceNow to meet critical mission system requirements. Using best practices, you will configure, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management. Additionally, you will develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, leveraging its automation and integration capabilities.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science (equivalent experience may substitute for a degree).

Clearance:

  • Active Security Clearance except for Public Trust

Experience:

  • At least five (5) years in information technology, focusing on ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, MySQL, and Linux.
  • Strong understanding of web services, including SOAP and email-based workflows.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow toolsets, including Service Catalog, Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, Reporting, and Configuration.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3 processes.
  • Background in helpdesk and change control business applications.
  • Proven ability to develop, release, and maintain software solutions.

Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present to senior-level management.
  • Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently or collaborate across various functional areas.

Desired Qualifications:

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • ITIL v3 Certification.

Experience:

  • Working with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Using relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
