In this position...

As a GDIA C360 Product Manager, you will be a critical driver in transforming raw data into actionable insights and innovative data products that empower Ford to "see our business, know our customers, and act in a meaningful way." You will lead the definition, development, and launch of data-driven solutions that support Ford customers and all the interactions they have with Ford from researching a vehicle, ordering, Sales process (including financing, incentives and extended service plans), servicing the vehicle, along with new mobility services. 

What you'll do...

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for C360, ensuring alignment with GDIA's mission and Ford's overarching business objectives.
  • Requirements & Prioritization: Translate high-level strategic objectives into detailed, actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Manage and prioritize the product backlog with a clear focus on delivering maximum business value and knowing our customers.
  • Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through development, launch, adoption, and continuous iteration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders across various departments (e.g., IT, Marketing, Operations) to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement based on insights.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to diverse audiences, including technical teams, business partners, and senior leadership, fostering transparency and alignment.
  • Agile Leadership: Champion Agile methodologies and best practices within your team, facilitating ceremonies and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

You'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership roles, with a strong emphasis on data products or analytics solutions. Experience working with Ford Customer data, and Internal systems (Sales, Service, Credit, ESP and Ordering).
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) 
  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategies, manage product roadmaps, and prioritize backlogs effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable product decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • A solid understanding of data ecosystems, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, cloud platforms like GCP).
  • Experience working in a complex, global enterprise environment.

  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Certifications in Product Management (e.g., CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager).
  • Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning concepts and their application in product development.

This position is a salary grade 7.
