Senior Data Product Engineer

Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (2 days a week onsite Mondays and Thursdays)

Duration: 6 months (high potential for extension or conversion)

Rate Range: Up to$85.5/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B

Must Have:

  • Strong SQL and Python programming experience
  • Experience with Snowflake (data storage, query optimization)
  • Proficiency with Docker for containerized development
  • Experience with data pipelines and transformation workflows (ETL/ELT)
  • Familiarity with media data (Nielsen, Adobe Analytics, or Comscore preferred)
  • Strong understanding of backend or data engineering principles
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain backend systems and data workflows for media forecasting applications.
  • Write production-level SQL and Python code to support analytical and web-based applications.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Decision Science, and App Engineering teams to maintain datasets powering key forecasting tools.
  • Design, build, and optimize transformation logic connecting disparate data sources.
  • Support the ongoing development and sustainment of an internal forecasting platform used across multiple business units.
  • Participate in Agile sprint cycles, assisting with prioritization, task management, and technical implementation.
  • Ensure data quality, operational stability, and timely delivery of enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software/data engineering or data product development.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Docker, and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Airflow, or other cloud-based data orchestration tools.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate across data, science, and application teams.
  • Proven ability to manage both sustainment tasks and new feature development in parallel.
  • Bachelors degree required.

Nice to Have:

  • Media, entertainment, or advertising analytics experience (linear or digital).
  • Exposure to AWS modules (S3, EC2, EMR) and cloud data ecosystems.
  • Experience integrating data with business-facing applications.
  • Understanding of forecasting, viewership analytics, or revenue management systems.
