As our Reading Program Coordinator, you'll pioneer workshop designs that drive measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary students, while helping scale our successful program across campuses nationwide.

This role transcends traditional teaching - it's about leveraging data-driven instruction and technology to create transformative learning experiences. Available in Austin, TX (2 positions); Plano, TX; Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico, with competitive compensation ($100,000) and comprehensive benefits including day-one health coverage, HSA/FSA, 401(k) Roth, and relocation support.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design and deliver adaptive reading workshops that build core literacy skills through engaging, personalized instruction
  • Create and implement gamified literacy milestones that motivate and track student progress
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize instruction and generate actionable insights for program improvement
  • Partner with our engineering team to enhance AI literacy tools based on real classroom outcomes
  • Develop scalable, AI-enhanced content that drives grade-level proficiency achievements

What You Wont Be Doing

  • Following rigid, pre-packaged curricula that doesn't adapt to student needs
  • Spending hours on administrative paperwork and non-instructional tasks
  • Managing full-day classroom logistics and behavior
  • Working in isolation without tech support or data insights

Reading Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Transform early literacy outcomes by designing, implementing, and scaling an innovative AI-enhanced reading program that consistently enables students to achieve grade-level proficiency through personalized, data-driven instruction.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering impactful small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading assessment, student grouping, and creating differentiated instruction
  • Proven proficiency with AI/adaptive learning tools and ability to respond to student learning patterns
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Commitment to work on-site at one of our campuses: Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
