ResponsibilitiesDesign and perform data analysis that uncovers content and user insights necessary for making key business decisions.Visualize, interpret and report data findings, including developing content reports to help discover and identify new trends in the content ecosystem.Design data schema, write queries to extract data and manipulate data through ETL processes in SQL.Create automated dashboards to track real-time communication and evaluate business performance.Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting failures through ad hoc data analysis.Communicate findings to cross-functional partners to drive resolution.Utilize Python for data automation, generating data analysis reports, and performing statistical modeling to support business insights and decision-making.
Qualifications
QualificationsMust have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:Conducting exploratory and predictive analysis using Python, R, or Scala programming languages;Designing A/B tests, conducting statistical analysis, and interpreting A/B test results to provide insights for product features;Cleaning and processing data using relational databases and Hadoop Systems;Building clustering and classification machine learning models;Designing and maintaining dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key data and insights, and track key performance indicators; andCreating, maintaining, and delivering reports using Excel and developing and validating metrics to evaluate business performance.Employer: TikTok U.S. Data Security Inc.Type: Full time, 40 hours/weekLocation:San Jose, CASalary Range: $174304 - $177778 per yearTo Apply, click the apply button below. Job Information
For Pay TransparencyCompensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $174304 - $177778 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
