What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React for the front end and Golang for the back end
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Identify and correct application performance bottlenecks and fix bugs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5 years of development experience, including 2+ years in a senior/lead engineer role
Strong proficiency in React and Golang, as well as common libraries for each
Experience working with ORMs, web frameworks, and unit test frameworks
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working in the insurance industry
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as DataDog
