Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Teradata Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Teradata database development, data modeling, and ETL processes. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions to support our data-driven initiatives.


Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Teradata database solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Optimize existing SQL queries and data models for performance improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database design, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest Teradata features and best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Teradata databases.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Teradata-specific tools and utilities.
  • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Datastage) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and practices.
  • Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques in Teradata.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
