Data Engineer (Remote PST/CST Hours)

Compensation: $140,000/year

Schedule: Remote, must be available during PST or CST business hours

About the Role

Were seeking a Data Engineer to join our rapidly growing analytics and data infrastructure team. Youll play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining our data pipelines and systems. This is a remote position, but you must be comfortable working core PST or CST hours.

What Youll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Write efficient, production-quality Python code to transform and integrate data across multiple systems.
  • Develop, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-structured data models.
  • Troubleshoot and articulate complex data issues clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our data architecture and best practices as the team scales.

What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (data wrangling, automation, and ETL frameworks).
  • Expert-level SQL skills deep understanding of joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
