The Electro Optics Growth ProgramManager isresponsiblefor program execution of multiple classified study and prototype contracts ranging in size from $1M - $30M with a 5-yearAnnual Operating Plan (AOP) andunfactoredgrowthtarget of $100M. This position isresponsiblefor effective execution and reporting of all efforts to both theexternal customerand to the Advanced Technology / Advanced Electrical Optics (AEO) leadership.
The purpose of this position includes establishing and maintainingstrongcustomerrelationships in acomplextechnicalenvironmentand partnering with government counterparts to market potential programs in the Science and Technology Acquisitioncommunity. The quality of execution of these technology studies and prototype contracts, along with thesecustomerrelationships, will shape major future programs. It is vital that Raytheonunderstandthecustomerneedsto enable us to provide low-risk solutions in the near-term and morerobustsolutions in the future. The technology developed and/or presented through these studies/prototypes and the execution of these contracts is key for Raytheon to continue to receive current and future awards.
Along with the technical complexity, thisteam memberwillneedto maneuver through verycomplexcustomercommunities ranging from highly technical to end users. In addition, youwill berequiredto maneuvercomplexsecurity requirements. Youwill be expected to have highly persuasive skills to influence peers, executive levelindividualsand senior levelcustomersto make investment decisions resulting in new programs. Collaboration with other Raytheon strategic business units will be expected in the form of influencing strategies to take advantage of multi-sensor solutions while pursuing/capturing traditional programs. This position will report into the AEO EOIR Warfare Portfolio Director and will be part of the PortfolioLeadershipTeam.
This role is Onsite in McKinny, Texas.
What You Will Do
- ProgramExecution: Presenting program status utilizing business and projectmanagementtoolsand procedures such as Agile Development, CORE, EVMS, IMS/IMP,RiskManagement, Financial Forecasts and EAC
- Transitioning programs to other strategic business units within Raytheon
- Working with all functional organizations to ensure program is properly staffed and ensuring that the functions areengagedon programs
- Organizingand tracking performance of engineering subject matterexperts
- Gainingcustomerpull generating new programs
- Turning engineering ideas into conceptual programs
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Experience inSystems Engineeringand Program / ProjectManagement
- Experience with EO/IR sensor technology
- Experience interfacing with DoD and/or Science Technologycustomers
- Experience managing and reporting EVMS,costschedule,Risk, Financial Forecasts and / or EACs
- Active and transferrable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Raytheon Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience managing special access programs
- CustomerInterface experience such as presenting program status utilizing business and projectmanagementtoolsand procedures
- Experience with Agile program start-up andexecution
- Experience managing strategic programs tofacilitategrowth
- Understanding of Electronic Warfare technology
- Understandingof Raytheons EO/IR products

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
