While this position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel to Dallas, TX required. Also, only US Citizens or Green Card holders that will work W2 can be considered (I cannot work with those on 1099 or C2C basis for this role). Any messages from C2C vendors will be ignored.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional technical responsibilities, blending deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. The idea candidate will have a proven track record in Salesforce solution design and development while also demonstrating strong leadership skills to drive decision-making, influence stakeholder, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

As the Salesforce architect, you will be responsible for architecting scalable and high- performance solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring that our solutions align with business objectives and market trends. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the team through complex projects, from inception to delivery, and fostering a collaborative environment to deliver results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solution architecture: Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and Salesforce well architecture framework, ensuring security and seamless integration with other enterprise systems like SAP, ERP, e-commerce, and customer service platforms.
  • Strategic decision making: Influence and guide strategic decisions related to Salesforce platform capabilities, ensuring that solutions are future-proof and aligned with the organizations long-term vision.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead conversations with business stakeholders, IT leadership, cross functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines and deliverables.
  • Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, overseeing all phases from requirements gathering to development and support.
  • Technical Leadership: Provie hands-on expertise in developing Salesforce solutions, including configuration, customization and integration, while mentoring team members to elevate their technical skills.
  • Architecture Documentation & governance: Oversee the creation, management and maintenance of comprehensive architecture documentation and repository. Establish and enforce a robust governance model to ensure consistency, accuracy and adherence to architectural standards across all projects. Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in the architecture and provide guidance to the team on best practices for documentation and compliance with governance policies.

Experience and educational requirement:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Salesforce industry, 3+ years as a Salesforce architect or related leadership position.
  • Certification: Salesforce certified administrator & Platform App Builder required. CTA or developer II certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, management information system, or 7+ years work experience in a related field.

Skills, knowledge and abilities requirement:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data models, security models, integration patterns and development best practices.
  • Systematic thinking & Problem solving: Strong ability to approach challenges with a systematic and analytical mindset, breaking down complex issues into manageable components. Demonstrated expertise in identifying root causes of problems and developing innovative, effective solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong presentation skills.
