Practice Head Banking & Financial Services

We are a fast-growing technology and software company delivering end-to-end solutions to banks and financial institutions. Our offerings span Application Development, Digital Transformation, Cloud Enablement, Data Services, Cybersecurity, and AI/ML-powered services, along with a proprietary lending software platform tailored for commercial and consumer banking needs.

We are seeking a seasoned Practice Head Banking & Financial Services to lead, scale, and evolve our strategic initiatives across IT services and product offerings for the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Banking & Financial Services practice, aligned with company objectives.
• Drive growth in IT services (projects, managed services) and product adoption (lending software) across commercial and retail banking clients.
• Develop service and solution roadmaps tailored to evolving banking industry trends and compliance needs.

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Support sales and pre-sales teams in large account pursuits and RFPs, especially for banking transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain C-level relationships with client banks, credit unions, and financial institutions.
• Evangelize our offerings including lending platform, AI/automation capabilities, and integration services.

Practice Development

• Build and mentor a cross-functional team including domain experts, solution architects, and delivery leads focused on BFSI clients.
• Develop industry-specific accelerators, frameworks, and reusable solutions in lending, risk management, digital onboarding, KYC/AML, Payments etc.
• Stay ahead of regulatory, technological, and market changes in banking and embed that insight into delivery and offerings.

P&L and Delivery Oversight

• Own the P&L for the banking practice, driving revenue growth and margin expansion through optimized delivery.
• Ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery with a focus on digital experience, performance, and compliance.

Collaboration and Enablement

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to enhance the lending platform roadmap based on market and client feedback.
• Represent the practice at industry events, forums, and partnerships with core banking providers, fintechs, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in IT services or product companies with a focus on the Banking and Financial Services sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial and consumer lending, core banking systems, digital banking, regulatory compliance, and operational risk.
• Proven leadership in building and scaling banking-focused delivery teams and practice units.
• Deep knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, digital onboarding, API banking, cloud, and cybersecurity in the financial domain.
• Experience working with or competing against leading core and digital banking platforms is a plus.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and thought leadership skills.
