Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in detailed design sessions as part of elaboration and sprint planning, including provision of documentation to capture design as necessary
  • Contribute to the development of accurate effort estimates required for implementation of design alternatives
  • Develop and unit test quality-driven code that meets functional and non-functional requirements, and which is delivered within expected timescales
  • Assure quality of the delivered software within the build process, primarily through development of automated integration and system tests, with further manual and exploratory testing as needed
  • Contribute to technical innovation within the product
  • Fix project and production defects within agreed timescales
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Observe and adhere to existing processes and procedures of the software development group
  • Work with development leads and other senior leaders to devise and implement continuous improvements in development practices

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in the software development industry in C#.NET, Web application development, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript
  • Experienced at enterprise software architecture with knowledge of the Microsoft platform including IIS and the .NET Framework 4.x
  • Experienced at MSSQL Server, including SQL DML, T-SQL and DDL
  • Experienced at working in continuous build and integration environments
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and OOAD design skills
  • Experience of agile and iterative development
  • Experience of automated functional and system test frameworks
  • Experience with Test and Behavior Driven Development practices
  • Working knowledge of web service development, XML, XSLT and XSD, Microsoft IIS

Education :-

  • Bachelors degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
