Job Title: Software Design Engineer 2 Location: Remote Salary Range: $65/hr to $70/hr on W2 Introduction

The Xbox Experiences team is seeking a talented individual to contribute to enhancing gaming experiences on Windows-based gaming handhelds. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining features across Game Bar, Windows, and the Xbox App on PC.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4 years extensive experience in C++
4 years of extensive experience in C#
4 years developing application UI/UX
Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience in large systems software design and development, and knowledge of code management tools (e.g., Git).
Experience using XAML.
Experience developing on Windows.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with client requirement analysis and documentation.
Experience in creating detailed software specifications and test plans.
Background in providing quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects.
Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs.
Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications.
Implement system software and customize to client requirements.
Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans.
Code new programs to client specifications and create test data for testing.
Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs.
Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.
