Summary:

The Commercial Business Developer develops extensive working relationships in order to maximize opportunities; develops personal relationships with higher level key customers; shares knowledge and experiences with peers; help develop the skills and talents of other project team members by acting as a coach and support the Product Management, Strategic Accounts, Regions and the World Market Groups in their initiatives.

Responsabilit s principales:

  • G rer et jouer un r le de premier plan dans le d veloppement des opportunit s commerciales sur site en utilisant le portefeuille de produits Merchant On-sites et soutenir le d veloppement des installations commerciales d'Airgas.

  • laborer et mettre en uvre des strat gies g ographiques, de march et de produits pour l'activit Marchand sur site et soutenir le d veloppement des installations commerciales d'Airgas.

  • Comprendre les offres, la strat gie et la position de l'offre des concurrents sur les march s locaux et laborer des plans de d veloppement commercial en cons quence.

  • Identifier et/ou g n rer des opportunit s commerciales sur site bien qualifi es pour les gaz industriels afin d'assurer la croissance de l'activit .

  • valuer les besoins des clients, d terminer la solution sur site appropri e et comprendre la concurrence.

  • r aliser des tudes de faisabilit conomique des projets et tablir les prix propos s

  • D velopper et pr senter les projets propos s la direction g n rale pour approbation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and takes lead role for the business development of on-site business opportunities using the Merchant On-sites product portfolio and supports development of Airgas merchant plants

  • Develop and implement geographic, market and product strategies for the Merchant On- sites business and support development of Airgas merchant plants

  • Understands competitors offers, strategy and supply position in local markets and develops business development plans accordingly

  • Identify and/or generate well-qualified on-site business opportunities for industrial gases for growth of the business

  • Assess customer requirements, determines appropriate on-site solution and understand competition

  • Perform project economic feasibility studies and establish proposed pricing

  • Develop and present proposed projects to senior management for approval

  • Baccalaur at en ing nierie (chimique ou m canique), ou quivalent

  • Au moins cinq ans d'exp rience en mati re de d veloppement des affaires et de commerce

  • Attitude innovante et adaptable en ce qui concerne l' laboration de solutions pour les clients

  • Capacit r aliser des valuations conomiques de projets complexes

Qualifications souhait es

  • Ma trise en administration des affaires ou exp rience quivalente

  • Exp rience dans le domaine des gaz industriels un plus

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (chemical or mechanical), or equivalent

  • Minimum five years of business development and commercial experience

  • Innovative and adaptable attitude toward developing customer solutions

  • Ability to perform complex project economic evaluations

  • Strong passion for fostering an environment of Diversity, Inclusion and Respect.

  • Experience with developing, contributing, and supporting Airgas' commitment to a World Class Service, exceeding customer expectations and building brand loyalty.

  • Travel will be around 75%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration or equivalent experience

  • Industrial gas experience a plus
