Job Description:
We're currently on the lookout for a Founding Senior Full-Stack Engineer, who'll be at the centre of a human - AI conversation platform for a rapidly growing start up in the Bay Area.
Already being backed by Y Combinator amongst other top tier investors and a seed funding within the last 12 months, they're looking to continue to ride the momentum and scale with an ARR of more than $20 million with around 20 heads in the office currently.
You'll work closely with the rest of the founding team and work cross functionally on both the frontend and backend with things like dashboards, analytics and prompt orchestration. Making sure every customer has a seamless process and a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Develop core features like mentioned above
- Taking charge of projects and owning your own code ensuring consistent deployment and fast iteration
- Support the Founding FDE with customer onboarding
- Build scalable full-stack systems, from polished UIs to robust APIs and DevOps workflows.
Ideally we'd be looking for
- 2+ years of full-stack experience with particularly with JavaScript Technologies. You must have React experience and it'll be Nodejs on the backend but open to other backend technologies too.
- Hold a degree in CS, CE, or equivalent practical experience.
- Take ownership like a founder of your own code
- Thrive in fast-paced settings, quickly adapting to new tools and challenges.
- Communicate effectively with small but growing teams
This role isn't for the faint hearted. People that are already here, want to be here and they want to help build one of the most exciting companies there are. They are all in the top 1% of engineers and the ethic shows that.
To back this up, the package reflects the effort that's expected. With a salary in the region of $200 - $300K and equity on top up the value of 0.45% alongside the usual health and dental etc.
