About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-impact AI/ML Engineering team focused on developing, integrating, and scaling cutting-edge ML pipelines, including projects in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.

You will play a key role in building end-to-end AI/ML solutions-from raw data discovery to scalable production deployment. This is a hybrid role based in Malvern, PA, and requires local candidates willing to be onsite three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex ETL/data pipelines, focusing on performance and scalability
  • Integrate model pipelines into production systems; ensure data accuracy and pipeline robustness
  • Collaborate with Data Science teams to prepare model-ready datasets and verify feature sets
  • Conduct data discovery and root cause analysis of raw datasets, applying business context where needed
  • Write and maintain model monitoring scripts; troubleshoot alerts and resolve performance issues
  • Ensure strong documentation and data lineage throughout model development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

  • 5 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in Machine Learning or Data Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience designing ETL pipelines in AWS, including tools like Glue and SageMaker
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, including use of PySpark, PySQL, and common ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS required, Azure a plus)
  • Comfortable with exploratory data analysis, feature selection, and data transformation
  • Experience with API development is a plus
  • Familiarity with ML infrastructure best practices: CI/CD, testing, model versioning, logging, and security

Preferred/Bonus Skills

  • Experience with:
    • Feature Stores
    • LLMs and Generative AI (GenAI)
    • Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    • Model evaluation and post-deployment monitoring
