A Snapshot of Your Day

The Data Scientist meets with cross-functional teams to discuss insights and align on strategies to optimize performance to reach the set digital transformation journey. This role leads data science activities, developing predictive models to improve enterprise data end to end. They also coach and mentor team members, ensuring everyone is aligned with the long-term objectives. Finally, they collaborate with stakeholders, including EVP and VP management, to ensure strategic alignment and drive continuous improvement!

How Youll Make an Impact

• Motivational leader upskilling and learning and insuring all those who interact create a multiplier effect to share knowledge across the organization.
• Motivate and support complex projects and engage teams in challenging and exciting concepts and takeaways.
• Guide multiple workstreams across various enterprise platforms used by the region to reach the desired data state for advanced data science to deliver long term strategy planning & short term (quarterly) gross margin and revenue objectives.
• Develop short, mid and long term gross margin impacting insights based on critical thinking and business department needs in collaboration with VPs and EVPs stakeholders of a regional 3 Billion business.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in related field; additional certifications, technical trainings and/or advanced degree preferred (Physics, Math PHD, MBA & engineering).
• 8+ years industry experience. Experience in Large Model Data science.
• Enterprise data expertise across multiple platforms.
• Strategic approach with strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) to various teams and partners.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
