Full Stack Engineer TypeScript / Next.js (AI-Focused)

Location: Downtown San Francisco, CA | On-site

Salary: $150K $250K + Equity | Visa Sponsorship: Exceptional Candidates

Join a fast-growing, innovation-driven software team building AI-powered products at startup speedbut with financial stability. Youll work directly with leadership and a small, elite engineering team to ship scalable, production-ready features across a modern TypeScript/Next.js stack.

What Youll Do:

  • Build end-to-end features using TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router, Server Actions).
  • Develop AI workflows with modern AI SDKs (Vercel AI, Codex, Claude, Copilot).
  • Design and query Postgres databases; maintain schema, types, and queries.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and accessibility (streaming UIs, caching, Core Web Vitals).
  • Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, and background jobs.

What You Need:

  • 2+ years building production apps in TypeScript, React, Next.js.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM apps and modern AI tools.
  • Strong SQL/Postgres skills with ORM experience.
  • Accessibility-minded UI development experience (Tailwind/component libraries).
  • Active GitHub or portfolio showing day-to-day coding.
  • Bachelors in CS, Physics, Economics, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Early-stage startup or founder experience.
  • Real-time collaboration features experience.
  • Familiarity with Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) frameworks.
