As a senior data scientist on the Claims Control Data Science team, you'll use recent advances in machine learning to solve challenging problems related to vehicle repair. Youll own the end-to-end lifecycle of computer vision model development, from problem conception and research to production deployment and performance optimization. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, train, and deploy scalable machine vision models that solve complex real-world challenges. Youll also work with a team of data scientists, data engineers, and business partners to turn ideas into solutions. Remote work allowed. Must-have qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools (R, Python, etc.) and in using various database tools (e.g. Hadoop, SQL) processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools (R, Python, etc.) and in using various database tools (e.g. Hadoop, SQL) processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • {OR} Master's degree or higher with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics).
Preferred skills
  • Proven track record adapt and train neural networks to takle challenging computer vision tasks
  • Extensive experience using the PyTorch framework and GPU acceleration in a remote Linux environment
  • Experience using Git to collaborate with large teams on large, evolving codebases.
  • Practical knowledge of emerging multimodal AI capabilities such as GPT-4v, Llama, and DINOv3
  • Full-Stack Savvy: Ability to manage all aspects of a cloud-based solution including testing, CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring
Compensation
  • $87,200 - $116,300/year depending on position level
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive program up to 30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance and job level.
