The Compute Business Operations team is responsible for supporting an infrastructure engineering organization within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This executive-facing team manages activities that support the rhythm of the business, including executive reporting, workforce planning and management, and employee engagement programs.

Were seeking a Principal Program Manager (PM) to join our team and drive operational excellence across business operations. You will own process improvement and change management initiatives along with supporting executive reporting for key programs.

This role is part of a lean team of high-performing PMs within the Chief of Staff organization for an SVP.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management with demonstrated experience working in highly visible, fast-paced roles. 

This role will require someone who is proactive and able to operate across large, complex teams, balancing detailed execution with executive-level communication.  A successful candidate will possess excellent judgment and be able to iterate and execute on ideas quickly.

Location: Seattle, WA - 3 days a week. 

  • Deliver results quickly under tight timelines and respond to asks across a variety of Business Operations focus areas: employee engagement programs, workforce planning, executive reporting, annual efficiency planning/tracking, etc.
  • Drive execution of executive goals and business initiatives
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
  • Host regularly scheduled status meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Develop documents and artifacts for Business Operations workstreams
  • Prepare communication plans and strategies for stakeholder engagement
  • Represent business operations perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership
  • Must be self-directed and able to thrive in ambiguous situations

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years leading business processes and coordinating cross-functionally
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in program and project management
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, functional, and technical teams globally
  • Experience with building and managing reporting tools to support programs, such as scorecards and KPI metrics, to further drive insights that support the broader strategy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels, including the executive level
  • Continuous improvement mindset and exceptional process improvement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative metrics to provide a holistic viewpoint
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of trust and confidence with stakeholders
  • Flexible, resourceful, team player that can thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
