We are looking for Senior Software Engineer Microservices will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance microservices that support Fannie Maes core platforms and applications. The engineer will work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient solutions aligned with business and technical objectives. Candidates need to be local to either Virginia or Texas must be able to show state-issued ID or Drivers License no exceptions.

Required Skills:

Final Round Interview Onsite
H1B Only (Transfers Accepted) Not accepting USC/GC
W2 Only no C2C
10+ years experience in developing and deploying production-grade microservice implementations and designing scalable, resilient, high-performing, and secure microservices.
Must have SME level proficiency in Python.
Must know Java, or Node.js.
Must have AWS services (EC2, ECS, Batch, ALB, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EFS).
Must have hands-on experience with CI/CD using GitLab.
Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform (or other IaC tools).
Must have Coding Assistants (e.g., GHCP).
