We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (GCP or AWS). This role involves building scalable backend systems, cloud-native architectures, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
Design and implement cloud-native solutions on GCP or AWS.
Work with services like AWS Lambda, ECS, S3, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
Manage and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases.
Implement microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive performance optimizations.
Collaborate with DevOps, Data, and Product teams for end-to-end delivery.
Ensure cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Required Skills:
10+ years of professional Python development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS cloud services.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
Exposure to IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
Experience with CI/CD and automation pipelines.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
Exposure to data pipelines or ML workflows.
Open-source contributions or strong GitHub profile.
