We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with extensive experience in databases and metadata management to drive enterprise-wide metadata initiatives.
You will collaborate with technology partners to extract, standardize, and manage metadata across various systems, ensuring consistency and accessibility for business and technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in product management with a focus on enterprise data management and metadata governance.
Strong understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL, data lakes, etc.) and metadata models.
Experience working with metadata extraction, cataloging, and data lineage tools.
Proven ability to work with engineering teams to integrate metadata solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute metadata management strategies across the enterprise.
Work closely with engineering teams to extract metadata from multiple databases and platforms.
Ensure metadata is structured, governed, and accessible for business insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data governance, analytics, and technology partners.
Develop metadata taxonomies and standards for enterprise-wide usage.
Lead product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives to enhance metadata capabilities.
