Founding Senior Software Engineer (Frontend / Fullstack)

A hypergrowth AI startup backed by YC is hiring founding engineers to help shape the infrastructure behind its next-generation voice AI platform. This product is already powering real-time conversations for enterprise customers in sales, support, and retention workflows, millions of interactions, and growing.

As one of the first engineering hires, youll work across the stack (or specialise in frontend) to design and ship features that go directly into production. Whether its building beautiful call-flow editors, architecting new APIs, or designing distributed backend systems, youll be at the centre of high-impact, greenfield projects with clear business outcomes.

What Youll Do

• Frontend: Build intuitive dashboards and interfaces for real-time call management, analytics, and agent configuration using modern frameworks like React.
• Fullstack: Own features end-to-end across the stackthink GraphQL APIs, backend services, deployment pipelines, and frontend UI.
• Architecture: Help define the technical architecture and scalability roadmap for a fast-growing, high-throughput voice AI platform.
• Iteration & Launch: Work closely with founders, product, ML, and GTM teams to quickly prototype, refine, and launch customer-facing features.
• Founding Ownership: Influence culture, engineering practices, and hiring as part of the founding team.

What Were Looking For

• 315 years of software engineering experience (fullstack or frontend)
• Strong fluency in React (or similar), Python/Node, GraphQL, or equivalent modern web stack
• CS/EE/CE degree from a top-50 university
• Excited by early-stage company building, fast iteration, ambiguity, and ownership
• Bonus: Background in real-time systems, voice/audio, WebRTC, or streaming UIs
