Job Title: Agile Program Manager
OPEN TO MINNEAPOLIS DIGITAL HUB ONLY - CANDIDATES LOCAL TO OTHER MARKETS WILL BE REJECTED/DQ'D
WORKING HOURS: 8-5 CST
HYBRID: 3 DAYS IN OFFICE REQUIRED PER WEEK
DURATION: 12 months contract with possible extension

  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Should be able to foster strong relationships off the bat.
Job Details:
This role performs as an Agilist at the multiple team and Product levels, with more complex products/teams and dependencies. Requires deep knowledge and experience with Agile at scale and will apply and adapt thinking and practices to various situations. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized products; adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions .Prefer: Executive management level presentation skills; Entirely self-directed without explicit direction; Creative, flexible, and willing to continuously change, evolve, and improve software development processes; Demonstrated enterprise-level collaboration; Participates in key enterprise decisions and technical direction, including processes/standards.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of Agile program management experience
Four or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
Demonstrated delivery experience (stakeholder updates, dependencies, roadmaps, risks etc.)
Demonstrates an understanding for financial and business implications and provides appropriate guidance
Experience leading multiple complex product teams across enterprise and establish alignment
Agile software development principles and techniques (typically Scrum).
Independent and self-starter
Experience with DevOps engineering practices, a working knowledge of system development lifecycle and process change management/improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent at managing details and follow through
Demonstrated management, cross-functional leadership and interpersonal skills
