Overview

Seeking a Senior Ab-initio Metadatahub Developer with strong experience in application development, data lineage, and proficiency in Python or Java. The ideal candidate will work on optimizing complex enterprise data environments by leveraging industry tools and best practices in data lineage development.

Position: 1 Position | 6-Month Contract | C2C @ $100/hr

Work Authorization: Any working visa is acceptable

Level: Senior

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise-level data lineage applications

Optimize tools to manage data complexity across enterprise systems

Resolve technical issues related to graph and lineage tool performance

Collaborate in designing and implementing new features

Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation

Manage source code and ensure code quality

Perform code optimization, refactoring, and benchmarking

Participate in design discussions and research on emerging technologies

Provide technical support and engage in testing and verification activities

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Ab-initio Metadatahub development experience

Strong understanding of data lineage and data analytics

Experience in Python or Java (or both), with hands-on coding background

Familiarity with SDK-based development cycles

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively

Proficiency in code optimization and hardware-specific tuning

6+ years of professional software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with lineage tools and enterprise data management systems

Exposure to compiler projects, static/dynamic analysis, and API development

Candidate Details

Must be a Senior-level developer with hands-on experience

Should have strong lineage development experience using Ab-initio mHub

Open to any working visa holders willing to work from Boston, MA
