Job Description
This role will oversee the specifying, quoting, layout and installation of various types of manufacturing equipment for a new line that will be placed in an existing building. This person will need to be hands-on and will do much of the analysis themselves.
Duties & Responsibilities
Focus on machining operation and New Capital Introduction (NCI) project.
Lead ongoing NCI machining assets projects.
Experience with CNC programming and troubleshooting.
Experience with hands on, rundown on machine and setup.
Provide training support for technicians once manufacturing process is in place.
Assist with process documentation for new processes & equipment.
Lead investigation to resolve tooling and fixturing issues.
Education & Experience
Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial)
Minimum 10 years of experience
Required Technical Skills
Microsoft Office 365
Clear and fluent English with both oral and written communications
Growth mindset, aggressive and outgoing to learn processes
Ability to work independently and with a team
Work with a sense of urgency but must be balanced with priorities given to Safety & Ergonomics as well as Quality.
