Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka to join a leading banking client based in Raleigh, NC. This is an onsite role offering an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications in a dynamic financial services environment. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Develop messaging solutions and streaming applications using Apache Kafka.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address issues.
Work closely with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Required Skills:
8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API development.
Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
Solid experience with Apache Kafka for distributed messaging and streaming data pipelines.
Proficient in working with relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience working in banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of caching frameworks (Redis, Ehcache).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
