About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions within our Consumer Insights and Analytics team. This strategic role involves partnering closely with Marketing and Sales teams to leverage data science expertise for building machine learning models, optimizing processes, and driving data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational performance through innovative analytics solutions, automation, and insights that directly impact business strategies. This position offers flexibility for remote or hybrid work, with preferred locations including Bridgewater, New Jersey, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Long Island, New York. The Lead Data Scientist will be instrumental in translating complex data into actionable insights, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the continuous improvement of analytics tools and models to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Applied Scientist
- Proven experience in developing and deploying advanced analytical models and algorithms
- Proficiency in machine learning techniques including regression, clustering, probability networks, AI, and deep learning
- Strong programming skills in Python and R
- Experience with big data technologies such as Databricks, Azure ML, Apache Spark, Snowflake, AWS, and BigQuery
- Expertise in transforming raw data into meaningful features and handling data preprocessing tasks
- Experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests and other experimental methodologies
- Knowledge of causal inference techniques
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience with optimization models and agile project methodologies
- Familiarity with retail analytics, advertising data, and eCommerce datasets is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex insights effectively
Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative data science solutions to support business objectives and improve performance
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, build statistical and machine learning models, and solve critical business problems
- Design and deploy deep learning and natural language processing models for complex data analysis
