About The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team and support our mission by providing insightful analytics and reporting solutions. In this role, you will work closely with the business team to understand operational and business rules, data flow, and requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and optimize program performance. This position combines a consultative approach with technical expertise, bridging the gap between technology and operations. You will be expected to perform exploratory data analysis independently, utilizing your knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques. The role also involves developing innovative technical solutions to complex problems, contributing to policy and procedure development, and mentoring less experienced colleagues as needed. Your work will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of our patient support programs, ultimately helping us deliver better outcomes for patients and clients.
Qualifications- BA, BS, or equivalent experience in a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (including Macros)
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Tableau skills
- Experience with Patient/Hub Service analytics
- Experience with Rare Disease Patient Analytics
- Provider Analytics experience
- Familiarity with Call Center Data and Data Feeds (Data Aggregators)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the business team to understand business rules, data flow, and reporting needs
- Perform exploratory data analysis on complex datasets to derive meaningful insights
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support program performance and decision-making
- Design technical solutions for complex data challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Bridge the gap between technology and operations through effective communication and technical expertise
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices related to data analytics
- Work on large-scale, complex projects independently, with minimal supervision
- Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues to foster team growth and knowledge sharing
- Stay updated with emerging analytics tools and techniques to continuously improve data processes
