Role Summary

Are you a highly experienced Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality software for evolving product platforms in complex, integrated software-hardware environments? We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to take a leading role in managing the software delivery for our existing vehicle line as well as supporting new product development initiatives and production ramp. As a critical member of our Software Technical Program Team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of new features and launching new product variants, while upholding the highest standards of software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute comprehensive software program plans for software impacting changes for new vehicle variants and new software features, for both consumer and commercial vehicles
  • Align software release plans to company and program milestones
  • Drive software-hardware integration efforts
  • Cultivate strong working relationships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams outside of the software organization to ensure seamless software integration and successful launch of new features and product variants
  • Take ownership of prioritizing and driving the swift resolution of software issues that arise during the development of new features and product variants
  • Coordinate verification test plans tailored to the unique software and hardware configurations of new product variants
  • Deliver clear, concise, and insightful updates on the progress of software delivery to the program team, executive leadership, and key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify potential risks to software delivery timelines or quality, implementing effective mitigation strategies and healthily escalating concerns as needed
  • Identify and execute continuous process improvements

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • 10+ years of progressive Technical or Engineering Program Management experience, demonstrating a strong and successful track record in software delivery for complex, integrated software-hardware products
  • Experience leading the development and launch of at least 3 new products into production that involve software and electrical hardware
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to effectively influence and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep expertise in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, with practical and advanced proficiency in Jira and other program management tools to manage complex software delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a software or hardware product development engineer
  • Experience with over-the-air (OTA) software update strategies and deployment for connected devices or systems
  • Experience in the automotive industry

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate For

  • California Based Applicants: 154,000.00 USD - 209,300.00 USD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
  • British Columbia Based Applicants: 123,000 CAD - 154,000 CAD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
