  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all cloud resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Implement automation solutions to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency.
  • Be the first responder to cloud issues, providing support for escalated problems promptly to the appropriate stakeholders and vendors as necessary. Will continue to participate with others until the issue is resolved or mitigation is in place.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality solutions to customer problems and incidents focusing on root cause analysis, prevention, and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensures protection of the cloud environments and data by proactively identifying and deactivating any unnecessary services, port, protocols on system infrastructure.
  • Assist in the creation of installation/configuration/maintenance policies, procedures, and automation of cloud resources.
  • Document configurations, installation, upgrade, backup/recovery, security and operating systems standards, and other required information to ensure support and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, data storage, and associated systems.
  • Will communicate and inform appropriate stakeholders of escalated issues on time and will provide action plans and status until the issue is resolved.
  • Participates as an active, contributing member of project teams as proven by project meeting minutes, status reports, and project outcomes.
  • Work as a collaborative team member to create functional design specifications, cloud architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as necessary.
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role
  • Expertise in managing multi-cloud environments
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity and experience with Cloud CDN, storage, container, search engines, WAFs and load balancer technologies.
  • Displays expertise and understanding of Infrastructure as code, automation, and orchestration
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
  • Experience administering Windows and Linux OS
Required Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with the Cloud consoles, CLI, APIs and SDKs
  • Understanding of high availability configurations, DR, and backup solutions for Cloud infrastructure.
  • Expertise in managing the monitoring and alerting within multi-cloud environments.
