Primary Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to lead, manage, and deliver IT projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project management, specifically leading and working IT projects, with a strong background in IT within the education sector. Additionally, candidates with PMP (Project Management Professional) certification are preferred.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
PMO Certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, PRINCE2) is preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and systems commonly used in educational settings.
Proven experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
Preferred Special Knowledge/Skills:
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Knowledge of educational software platforms and systems (LMS, SIS, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure in the education space.
