Oracle Health is seeking a creative problem solver with a strong background in Oracle Health Millennium (formerly Cerner Millennium) to join our Federal Edge & Analytics team as a Consulting Software Developer. In this role you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and sustaining custom solutions that include Cerner Command Language (CCL), Discern Rules, MPages, Discern Analytics 2.0, and/or other programming and analytic languages for Oracle's federal customers. You will be a part of a diverse group of creative thinkers who leverage their extensive experience with Millennium products and database architectures to address customer technical and business problems. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our healthcare technology initiatives aimed at improving the lives of active-duty service members and veterans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a CCL Developer
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a consulting role or working with external customers
• Strong understanding of the Cerner Millennium data model.
• Broad knowledge working with multiple Oracle Health (Millennium) products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and grow others in technical and consulting skill set.
• Due to contract requirements the role requires you to be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to receive a favorable security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with development in Oracle SQL, Oracle APEX, Python, HRML, JavaScript, Oracle Health Data Intelligence (formerly HealtheAnalytics EDW), and/or Discern Analytics 2.0 (DA2).
• Understanding of Data Manipulation Language (DML) scripts.
• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate technology.
• Experience with development in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Familiarity with development in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment.
• Experience implementing and Oracle Cerner product for multiple customers.
• Experience working with federal government customers.
