Our client, a leading organization in the utility sector, is seeking an Applications and SQL Developer to join their team. As an Applications and SQL Developer, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting the Data Analytics and IT teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, strong communication, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Applications and SQL Developer

Location: Sacramento, California (Hybrid)

Pay Range: Target pay rate is up to $60 per hour

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and modify software applications to meet organizational needs
• Collaborate with senior subject matter experts on ETL processes to support data requests
• Develop and optimize relational and multidimensional database structures within the data warehouse
• Modify ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources effectively
• Analyze and enhance data structures to improve functionality and support business objectives

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience with Visual Studio and C# programming
• Extensive experience with SQL Server and RDBMS, including query optimization
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and working with JSON data formats
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
• Experience working within the electric utility industry is preferred
