Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking an Android Developer to join their team. As an Android Developer, you will be part of the software engineering department supporting innovative mobile application projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Design and develop prototype Android customer applications for both internal and external use.
• Participate in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.
• Collaborate with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
• Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
• Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience in Core Java and mobile test automation with Appium.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI, and XCode.
• Strong knowledge of code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.
