Position: Applications Analyst II Epic Cupid Cardiology

Location: Mostly remote, with ability to be onsite as needed (Boston, MA)

Duration: 3-month contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Applications Analyst II Epic Cupid Cardiology to join our healthcare IT team. The Analyst will provide advanced support for Epic Cupid Cardiology, working closely with clinical and IT teams to analyze, design, build, and optimize application workflows. The role involves gathering business requirements, implementing solutions, testing, and supporting end users to ensure seamless clinical and operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications.
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and optimization for Epic Cupid Cardiology.
  • Participate in system design, configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Document workflows, procedures, and application changes.
  • Ensure application compliance with hospital policies, security, and data standards.
  • Act as liaison between IT and business units to improve system utilization.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in either:
  • Business systems analysis (preferably across multiple hardware/software platforms), OR
  • Business unit experience working closely with IT on system development/implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

Certification Requirements:

  • Epic Certification: Must successfully complete Epic Cupid Cardiology certification program within 6 weeks of taking the last class (if not already certified).
