Our Salesforce developers and senior developers are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom Salesforce solutions and integrations for our clients across various industries. They also assess, recommend, and implement solution and platform optimizations, either directly or through coordination with others, that improve the health of Salesforce environments. Success in this role requires strong Salesforce engineering experience, advanced knowledge of platform architecture and performance optimization, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
YOU ARE:
- Highly skilled in Salesforce custom development (Apex, LWC, Aura), architecture, platform design, and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices
- Focused on long-term scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Skilled at advising and guiding both client and peers
- Clear and confident in communicating technical strategy to client stakeholders
- Proactive in identifying risks and setting direction for sustainable solutions
YOU DO:
- Conduct org health assessments, analyzing code quality, automation, integrations, and performance bottlenecks
- Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Aura Components, and Visualforce
- Design, develop, and document integrations and APIs
- Recommend scalable architectural approaches and best-practice design standards
- Review code, configuration, and solution designs (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce) to assess technical debt, surface risks, and guide refactoring or optimization - balancing tactical fixes with long-term improvements
- Provide the technical direction for client engineers and workstreams by defining recommended changes and providing hands-on guidance
- Drive adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
- Provide advice and recommendations to improve automated test coverage and CI/CD pipelines
- Produce clear technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices
- Share knowledge and expertise with other team members and client stakeholders
YOU HAVE:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Aura Components, and platform features such as sharing and visibility
- 5+ years of Salesforce data modeling and querying (SOQL, SOSL), automation (Flows and Apex), and experience reviewing and advising on integrations with external systems
- Strong knowledge of object oriented programming principles
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, with 3+ years working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Gearset, Copado, or equivalent
- Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning for Salesforce and integrations at enterprise scale
- Salesforce certifications such as System Architect, Application Architect, and/or Platform Developer II
- Cloud experience with AWS preferred; other cloud platforms valuable in integration contexts
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a track record of thriving in client-facing environments
- Willingness to travel for team events as needed
