Senior Full Stack Engineer - NYC Healthcare AI Startup

With recent funding of over $20M, they're on a mission to transform how healthcare professionals manage and interpret clinical data. Their platform leverages cutting-edge AI to streamline administrative processes and enhance clinical decision-making.

What You Will Do

• Architect and implement scalable backend services and infrastructure supporting mission-critical healthcare applications
• Drive technical decisions and take ownership of complex engineering challenges
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand needs and implement solutions that deliver measurable value
• Design and maintain robust systems across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Champion best practices in software development, including Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and CI/CD
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Ideal Candidate Background

• 4+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with strong backend expertise
• Proven track record of shipping products end-to-end in fast-paced environments
• Experience building and scaling infrastructure for high-throughput systems
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern DevOps practices
• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience at high-growth startups
• History of technical leadership or founding engineer experience
• Experience in healthcare technology or HIPAA-compliant systems
• Notable achievements in academic or extracurricular pursuits
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $160,000 - $220,000
