Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Unity Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You will play a key role in developing a card-based mobile game, leveraging your expertise in Unity and mobile game development to create engaging and visually stunning gameplay experiences. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to collaborate with a dynamic team from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Game Development:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize game features and mechanics using Unity.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to bring the games vision to life.
  • Technical Implementation:
  • Build and maintain a robust and scalable codebase for the game.
  • Ensure seamless integration of gameplay elements, animations, and UI components.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Optimize game performance for various mobile devices and screen resolutions.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure a smooth player experience.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with the creative and technical teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Participate in regular meetings to provide updates, address challenges, and brainstorm solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Unity Developer, with a focus on mobile game development.
  • Proficient in C# programming and Unity Engine.
  • Strong understanding of mobile game optimization techniques.
  • Experience with card game mechanics and/or turn-based gameplay is a plus.
  • Knowledge of multiplayer game development and server integration is a bonus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
