Job Description
In-depth theoretical understanding and practical expertise on financial data specifically pertaining to Capital Markets.
Understanding of market issuances and their data points.
More than 8+ years of experience in data and business analysis.
Good documentation and communication skills
Understanding of agile methodology
Strong understanding of relational database design concepts
Familiarity with various process modeling techniques (activity hierarchy diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, workflow diagrams, system interface diagrams).
Ability to work individually, given a task/ problem, without having to rely for guidance in data/Business analysis
Gather requirements from users and document them for developers.
Troubleshoot any reporting/data issues reported by other teams/users.
Collaborate closely with other team members
Strong technical writing/documentation skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to take technical concepts and explain them in widely understandable terms.
Ability to operate under pressure and multi-task, must demonstrate strong bias for action, follow-through, and personal leadership.
Salary And Other Compensation

The salary for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
