Zoox, the most ambitious developer of self-driving taxis, is laying off 10% of roughly 1,000 employees, according to a person with knowledge of the move. It comes after the company last fall raised $200 million in convertible debt after previously raising $800 million in equity financing, with Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brooks becoming a key shareholder.
