Intercom has become the latest tech company to announce lay-offs due to declining economic conditions. The company has said it intends to lay off 49 people, equivalent to less than 5 per cent of its total employees, with 23 jobs to be lost locally.
The decision affects staff working across marketing and HR, with the tech unicorn stressing it is continuing to hire in critical areas such as product development.
