Senior Software Engineer

VES, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with demonstrated success supporting and providing leadership within DoD organizations. For this position, you'll be supporting our efforts up at Picatinny, NJ and helping to lead a team of exceptionally smart individuals. While this position can be performed remotely, the employee will be expected to travel occaisionally to the worksite. We offer highly competitive pay, generous benefits, and a friendly work culture.General Job Duties:Software Integration of existing components with R&DDevelop, test, and manage software as directed and determined by the project leadPerform technical prototypes for emerging technologiesMaintain and improve the performance of existing software solutionsClearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleaguesRecommend improvements to existing software solutions as necessaryLead and manage the software development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications for mission objectives.Work closely with the customer and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions to meet their needs.Required Skills:Solid problem-solving and debugging ability.
