THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance Systems, the contract Functional Business Analyst will have the opportunity to execute critical Venterra projects and initiatives. This role will continue the operational enhancements to the Dynamo Software Solution for the Investor Reporting Team, and the implementation of Oracle Cloud Fusion for the Corporate Reporting Team as part of a company-wide ERP implementation targeted to go live in early 2024.Other initiatives will be assigned based on Venterras Annual Business Plan priorities and business needs for both the Investor Reporting and Corporate Reporting teams.

Our solutions to date have been a combination of implementing customized third-party solutions and building in-house solutions from scratch to proactively build out our technology stack with best practices while delivering an exceptional user/customer experience.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the project team to execute on multiple projects that optimize the Investor Reporting Teams processes via the Dynamo Software Solution
  • Along with the teams BA, develop and maintain detailed and accurate plans and documents to ensure project deliverables will achieve the approved requirements
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle by identifying, analyzing, redefining, coordinating, and implementing, as required
  • Execute user acceptance testing to track, validate and report on status of project deliverables through to acceptance and approval
  • Partner with stakeholders and third-party vendors to support the Corporate Reporting team on the ERP implementation, such as testing reports for accuracy, completeness and security
  • Other ad hoc initiatives and requests as required

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field
  • 5+ years of project experience including accounting transformation projects
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to dig into the detail and learn new systems and processes
  • Superior coordination, organizational and facilitation skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interpret, document and present business requirements, specifications, reports, project documents, implementation plans, etc.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • Previous experience working with Dynamo considered an asset, but not required; experience with Oracle or another large ERP solution is preferred
  • Experience in real estate or asset management is preferred
