Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the Phantom Works. Team located in St. Louis - MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense - Space & Security (BDS) business organization.Boeings Phantom Works Mission Systems Software team is looking for an individual that is capable of working in a collaborative team environment helping to implement various features of mission critical flight software. This will include developing software and software tests throughout all phases of the softwaredevelopment life-cycle (requirements - architecture - implementation - and verification). The software engineer will develop software in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software build pipeline using an agile methodology focused on code quality - security and automation.PositionResponsibilities: Contribute to all phases of the software development life-cycle (requirements - architecture - implementation - and verification). Work in small to medium sized agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills to tackle complex problems on a variety of projects and features. Responsible for developing technical products - plans - documentation - and briefings in support of program requirements.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. . An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.This position requires ability to obtain program access - for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.This position will require the candidate to be 100% onsite in Berkeley - MOBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience): A minimum of 2+ years of professional software development experience with C++ and / or Linux operating systems development using a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software pipeline Degree and typical experience in engineering classification:Bachelor's and 2 s experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor - Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study - in engineering - computer science - mathematics - physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred - although not required - accreditation standard.PreferredQualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience or familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software build pipeline techniques and software factories such as Dev Ops & Dev Sec Ops Experience debugging and troubleshooting technical problems involving computer memory or timing considerations. Experience or familiarity with industry tools or development techniques such as the following. Embedded Systems Software Linux Containers (Docker and Kubernetes) CMake Git CI/CD Dev Sec Ops (Jira - Gitlab - Ansible - & Artifactory) Cameo (UML - SysML) Automated Testing - SAST - and DAST (Google Test - Cucumber - Coverity - and Sonar Qube)TypicalEducation /Experience:Education /experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering - computer science - mathematics - physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 s' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
