Job Summary:
The Data Reporting Analysist will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting data to develop comprehensive reports across the organization. These reports will be utilized to inform business and quality outcomes and deliver analytical insights that will drive both internal and external initiatives. The Data Reporting Analyst will also make recommendations to the Data Analytics & Call Center Manager regarding the methods in which PPM gathers and analyzes data to improve the quality and efficiency of our data systems across the affiliate. This position requires work that will cross various departments to deliver analytical insights that will drive both internal and external initiatives.

Overview of what you as a Data Analyst will do:

    • Gather Information from Data Sources

    • Develop KPIs with internal partners to measure business and quality performance.
    • Compiling raw data sources to produce business reports and executive-level presentations.
    • Identify and develop new reporting methods, templates, and tools that will lead to an improvement in key metrics
    • Participate in regular project meetings and provide timely progress reports to management.
    • Transfer raw data and put it in spreadsheets to create easily understood, clearly formatted information.

Interpret Data:

    • Analyze results and provide insights into how metrics are impacting the business.
    • Analyze statistical trends for performance evaluation and decision making.
    • Coordinate, analyze, and report monthly performance data.
    • Set up data analytics and monitor ways to improve cost per visit.
    • Extract and analyze large datasets from various databases (e.g., Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Excel or SQL)

Work with PPM Databases:

    • Streamline and automate processes and reports.
    • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports from the databases.
    • Monitor systems to ensure the integrity of dashboards and reports along with the data that feeds them.
    • Demonstrate the ability to train others and build procedures on new reporting or data mining.

Knowledge and Competencies:

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills such as ability to utilize filters or Pivot tables, or experience with data reporting/analysis tools such as Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, Power BI, Epic or Bridge-It.
    • Ability to write clearly including the writing of procedure manuals.
    • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of people.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited information exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills required with ability to maintain open lines of communication across departments.

Education and Experience

    • Possession of a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or has equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis; required
    • Experience working with healthcare data preferred. Epic, HRSA, NCQA, Census, CDC/NCHS Data sets)
